Stone Age inspired tools

Today we made our own Stone Age tools at Forest School after being inspired from our trip to the Royal Cornwall museum where we saw real Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age tools.  We have been researching how Stone Age people lived and hunted.  We also thought carefully about the types of tools they used and how they made them.

We enjoyed the challenge of creating our own Stone Age tools using wood, rocks and twine.  We found working as a team made the task easier.

Co-operation and patience were essential skills. As you can see from our class photo we were thrilled with our Stone Age inspired tools and really got into character as a Stone Age man!
