Today Year Two used a flint and steel to make a fire at Forest school. It tested their skills of perseverance and resilience because it was quite tricky to create a spark to make a fire. We thought about why fire was essential to survival of Early Man – they used it for warmth, light and to cook on.

In our free time at Forest School we used our imagination to create dens and fairy houses.
