Today we learned about Mary Anning and her incredible contribution towards paleontology.

We discussed how fossils are formed in sedimentary rock.

We also had a go at creating our own fossils at Forest School – it was great fun!  Our fossils look really effective.

We even had time to do our own choice of activity at Forest school. Children were decorating wood, making dens, hiding in dens, cooking in the mud kitchen and also making muddy style music!

We ere even treated to a rock concert which featured three different bands!
