In Forest school today we looked closely at the patterns and shapes of leaves. We started by playing a game where our partner was blindfolded and they had to describe the leaf texture and shape without looking at it.

Next we all sketched a leaf in stages. First we looked at the overall shape then we looked at the leaf’s jagged edge and finally we added more detail by looking at the leaf’s veins.
