As part of our Science lessons at Forest School we have made and tested string telephones.  We investigated how the length of the string affected the sound quality.  We also looked at how the size of the cups used changed how the sound is amplified.  We discussed how sound travels in waves and the vibrations travel down the taught string and are amplified in the cup.

In groups we each wrote a script for our advert and practiced performing it.  We made sure to include key Scientific vocabulary linked to Sound.

Finally Mrs Marples filmed each of our amazing adverts and showed the Year Three class.
